The 250 W motor is controlled by Festool MMC electronics, providing consistent speed and up to 25% greater material removal capacity. This helps maintain efficient sanding performance across a wide range of finishing and preparation applications.
For cleaner working, the RTS 400 can be connected to a Festool mobile dust extractor using the CLEANTEC connection system or operated with the reusable long-life dust collection bag. The attachable PROTECTOR also helps protect adjacent surfaces when sanding close to edges, frames and panelling.
