The Makita DTD172Z is part of the ever-growing range of professional tools from Makita that share the same 18v LXT battery and charger platform, making it easier and more cost-effective to expand your tool kit as and when required. The DTD172Z is a compact and lightweight impact driver with a slim tool body, making it easier to access tight corners or confined spaces and is powered by a brushless motor that increases battery runtime and requires no maintenance.

The DTD172Z has a 4-stage impact power selection, wood mode, bolt mode plus two T-modes for self-drilling screws and a 4-speed electronic gearbox for all-round versatility. Other features include twin LED lights with pre-glow and after-glow, one-touch bit installation for rapid changeover and a quick mode switching button.
